Self catering accommodation Bicester Grange Farm Country Cottages

Grange Farm is a working farm owned by the Oakey family. Set in the small village of Godington in rural Oxfordshire, it’s beautiful, peaceful location offers all the delights of the English countryside.

Self Catering Cottages

There are five cottages on our farm, all sensitively converted from original Victorian barns.  Located in a private courtyard, they all have lovely views over the gardens and surrounding countryside.  Inside and out, their style reflects beautiful country charm, combined with outstanding levels of comfort. Cosy underfloor heating, natural oak floors, tumbled marble tiles and exposed original roof trusses and beams are in all the properties.  Our vision is to provide guests with a combination of contemporary practical items and luxurious character furnishings. Wi-Fi broadband is available throughout our site.

Facilities – everything to hand!

Quality crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided in well equipped kitchen areas, which include a full-sized cooker, fridge, microwave oven and dishwasher, plus TV, DVD and radio. Each property opens onto attractive, well maintained gardens. Garden furniture, barbecue equipment and garden games for outdoor relaxation and dining are available, depending on the season.

Dog Friendly Holidays

Why not bring your‘best friend’ for a dog friendly break at Grange Farm Country Cottages? Naturally, dogs don’t appreciate cultural city breaks; they want woods, footpaths and fields, all of which are on the doorstep of your cottage. Your dog will love to explore new territory; as you appreciate the luxury of your farm holiday cottage.

Attractions, Walking and Picnics

There are several stunning National Trust properties in our area, including Stowe and Waddesdon.  Blenheim Palace is also nearby and the beautiful Cotswolds.  Bicester Designer Outlet Village is also just minutes away for those guests seeking to include some retail therapy during their stay!  Grange Farm Country cottages are set amongst a wide network of footpaths and bridleways that lead across the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire. From your cottage door, there is something to suit walkers of all abilities and plenty of places to enjoy a leisurely picnic.

Equine friends welcome!

On site we have 'Oakwood Stables’ our yard of high quality, purpose built stables which are available for guests to hire on a DIY livery basis. You can bring your equine friend with you on your rural break, so you can enjoy the local lanes and bridleways together.  You can also get to know our family ponies!

Fishing – Catch a Quiet Moment

Just a few minutes walk from the cottages, Grange Farm has its own private coarse fishing lake.  The lake is well stocked with carp, perch, roach, tench and bream.

The Meet

‘The Meet’ is our games and ‘get together’ room for use by both guests and private groups. It has an elegant snooker/pool table. There are also clothes washing facilities in the adjoining housekeeping area, which can be used by arrangement. We also offer the business guest an ideal base for traveling, with broadband facilities and a meeting room available for hire.

Conveniently Located

London Heathrow, Luton and Birmingham Airports are in easy reach. Bicester North railway station 15 minutes away with London Marylebone just 65 minutes. Very convenient for M40 and M1 motorways and other major routes.
